Welcome, love

In 50 years on this planet, I have come to some amazing realizations about the most important thing in existence: love. I have been working on a way to articulate how we use love in our daily lives in the hope that someone will find inspiration in this new model for the expression of and experience of love.

I have designed a dynamic and imperfect model that uses a graphical means of discussing love and how we experience and express love. It hopefully puts to rest the notion that love is transactional–that you give love and that it can be taken from you.

This site will serve as a scratch pad of sorts that will hopefully allow me to organize my ideas into a coherent theory about how love works in our daily lives, about how you can learn to maximize the experience of love, and about how our lives are enriched by the expression of the love within us.

I hope to describe this system as a way of understanding the actions of the people we love and people in general. I hope that it is used in a manner that increases the expression and experience of love in everyone that uses it.

I do not claim to have the only answer to “what is love” and though I will get into arguments about the nature of the most important thing in existence, I hope to articulate this model the way a legend informs a map.

I encourage any questions or concerns about my model and will genuinely try to answer questions as they arrive. I have answered numerous questions on Quora.com and may refer some questions to that service while I am working on this model.

If you have something to add to my model, please let me know. It is always growing and developing and I would be glad to discuss how your model and mine could be combined or work together.

If you have a specific topic that you would like me to write about, please let me know as well. I will write headlines of topics that I plan to cover as I think about them. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
